Acacia Research subsidiary Innovative Display Technologies (IDT) filed suit against Apple asserting seven patents acquired from Rambus in March 2013 (6,755,547, 7,300,194, 7,384,177, 7,404,660, 7,434,974, 7,537,370, 8,215,816). The patents-in-suit relate to LCD components and have been asserted in cases filed by Innovative Display and co-plaintiff Delaware Display since June 2013 against Acer, Amazon, BlackBerry, Dell, HP, HTC, Huawei, Lenovo, LGE, Microsoft, Nokia, Pantech and Sony.
