Kyocera is the newest target in Bluebonnet Telecommunications’s ongoing litigation campaign. Kyocera phones are accused of infringing two patents that originated from Siemens (6,400,814, 6,560,274).  The ’814 patent relates to silencing and incoming call and the ’274 patent relates to a transceiver device. The Bluebonnet patents were assigned to NPE, Star Co, by Siemens in July 2013 and were first asserted in litigation by Bluebonnet in June 2013.
