The second round of filings from Selene Communication Technologies targets nine companies involved in networking and communication: AT&T, Dell, EMC, Open Text, Oracle, Reed Elsevier, Rackspace, and Verizon. In February 2014, Selene filed its first suit against networking company, Cisco, accusing the company of infringing a patent related to network intrusion detection (7,143,444). That same patent is involved in the new litigations, along with a second patent related to searching an information management system (6,363,377). Each case accuses defendants’ data storage and analysis products of infringing the patents. The two patents asserted in the cases were among three assigned to Selene by SRI International in November 2013. 3/14, District of Delaware, 1:14cv00340, 1:14cv00341, 1:14cv00342, 3/31, District of Delaware, 1:14cv00399, 1:14cv00400, 1:14cv00401, 1:14cv00402, 1:14cv00403, 1:14cv00404
