William Grecia, an individual inventor, filed suit against Amazon for alleged infringement of a patent related to authorizing access to digital content (8,533,860). The complaint accuses Amazon’s streaming video service and “Fire” stream media player of infringing ‘86o, a patent that Grecia has also asserted in suits against Apple, Google, Microsoft, Sony, and VUDU.
