New NPE Targets Adobe EchoSign Customers

Collaborative Agreements filed its first patent infringement suit naming Adobe, Citrix, Time Warner, and TiVo. Defendants are joined as customers of Adobe’s EchoSign product, which is accused of infringing a single asserted patent (8,271,393).  The patent-in-suit relates to collaboration between two or more parties on an electronic document. Collaborative Agreements acquired the asserted patent from Soluble Technologies in August 2011 and is also the owner of two other former Soluble Technologies patents not involved in this case. Collaborative is an alias for  Oui Agree a company that appears to have tried to launch a commercial product in 2011-2012. but no longer appears to be in operation.
