ParkerVision filed a new suit against Qualcomm along with HTC asserting a new group of patents. Seven patents related to radio frequency communication are at issue (6,091,940, 6,704,549, 6,873,836, 7,039,372, 7,050,508, 7,966,012, 8,190,116). Integrated circuits made by Qualcomm and used in HTC devices are the accused products. This is the second patent infringement suit filed by ParkerVision against Qualcomm. The previous suit did not name any other defendants and involved other patents from the same family.
