Finjan Campaign Hits Symantec for a Second Time

July 10, 2014

Finjan, Inc. sued Symantec for alleged infringement of five patents related to computer and network security systems (7,756,996, 7,757,289, 7,930,299, 8,015,182, 8,141,154). The ‘154 patent was asserted in Finjan’s 2013 suits against Armorize, Proofpoint, and Websense; those cases are currently ongoing. Finjan asserted both the ‘289 and ‘154 patents in its March 2014 lawsuit against Sophos.
