NPE Continues Targeting Developer Tools in Its Suit Against Microsoft

More than a year after its last suit, Advanced Dynamic Interfaces (ADI) sued Microsoft for alleged infringement of two patents. The patents-in-suit relate to dynamic generation of graphical user interfaces for databases and have been previously asserted by ADI in litigation against Aderas and Salesforce (7,062,5027,401,094). The ‘094 patent was also involved in ADI’s infringement suit against Aptify. In all of the cases filed by ADI, including the one initiated against Microsoft this week, defendants’ developer tools, platforms, and services have been named as accused products.
