PanTaurus LLC initiated its litigation campaign in September 2013 and almost a year to the day later the entity added a dozen new cases. Bank of America, Chevron, Citigroup, eHarmony, E*TRADE, Facebook, Hulu, JPMorgan Chase, LinkedIn, Morgan Stanley, Spotify, and Wells Fargo are the new defendants. A single patent related to a secure computer storage device is asserted in each of PanTaurus’s cases (6,272,533). Defendants’ Hadoop-compatible computer file systems are at issue in the suit; previous litigation accused other secured computer storage systems.
