WiLAN released financial results for the third quarter of 2014. The NPE reported revenue of $24.6M, up from $20.7M in Q3 2013—an increase primarily attributed to the timing of fixed payments related to license agreements signed in 2013 and the nine months ended September 30, 2014. WiLAN disclosed that some of those agreements contained higher fixed payments at the beginning of the license agreements. Trailing nine-month revenue totaled $76.2M, compared to $59.0M in the same period last year.
