Itron (3:14-cv-05408), Landis+Gry Technology (3:14-cv-05410), and Sensus (3:14-cv-05411) are the newest defendants in the litigation campaign Softvault Systems, Inc. began almost a decade ago. The recent suits assert the two patents involved in the campaign, 6,249,868 and 6,594,765, and accuse defendants’ remotely controlled smart meters of infringement. The patents-in-suit generally relate to endpoint security management and were developed by Softvault.
