RealTime Data Asserts Operating System Patents for the First Time

RealTime Data, LLC filed its first litigation of 2014 just before the year closed, naming Dell, HP, and Microsoft as defendants. The suit asserts three patents that RealTime has not previously used in litigation (7,181,608, 8,090,936, 8,880,862). Microsoft’s Windows operating systems is accused of infringing the patents-in-suit, which relate to accelerated loading of operating systems and applications upon system boot or application launch. Dell and HP devices that are compatible with Windows are also at issue. Fisch Sigler LLP represents RealTime in this suit.
