Patent Inventor Sues Microsoft and Other Game Developers Pro Se

Inventor Richard Baker is asserting one of his patents against Electronic Arts, Harmonix, Majesco, Microsoft, Nintendo, Respondesign, THQ, and Ubisoft (5,486,001). The patent relates to motion capture technology ,and defendants’ gaming systems that can take physical input from players are accused of infringement. Specifically, the suit accuses the Xbox Kinect and Wii game consoles, as well as games compatible with one or both consoles, of infringing the patent-in-suit.
