The campaign began in October 2014 and now involves four suits against mobile device makers. Each suit asserts the ‘627 patent, which broadly relates to a wireless device capable of making secure transactions. Mobile phones and tablets made by ASUS and sold online are accused of infringing the patent-in-suit.
