In what appears to be its first patent infringement suit, Deep Green Wireless LLC, a subsidiary of General Patent Corporation, sued NEC Corporation (2:15-cv-01186). The patent-in-suit (RE42,714), which Deep Green developed and is a reissue of 6,778,662, generally relates to products that manage voice communication from multiple devices over a network. Deep Green’s complaint focuses on a variety of NEC’s base stations, including its femtocell and DECT access point products.
