Packet Tread LLC, a newly incorporated Texas entity, filed its first litigation campaign, targeting companies involved in making or selling mobile devices. The entity sued ASUS, Apple, Archos, BLU, BlackBerry, Coolpad, Dell, HTC, Huawei, Kyocera, LGE, Microsoft, Motorola, Samsung, Sony, T.C.L., and ZTE, asserting a single patent related to echo cancellation in VoIP networks (6,310,864). Tablets and smartphones made or sold by defendants are the accused products in the campaign.
