Inventor Daniel L. Flamm filed his first patent litigation, asserting three patents against Samsung (5,711,849, 6,017,221, RE40,264). Flamm is the sole named inventor on the patents-in-suit, which relate to etching a semiconductor device during fabrication. Samsung’s semiconductor fabrication processes are accused of infringement.
