Transcenic, Inc. recently concluded its first litigation, against Google, and followed it by adding a second suit (1:15-cv-06434) to its campaign. The new suit targets Nokia and asserts three patents (7,050,102, RE42,289, RE44,925), only one of which, the ‘829 patent, was involved in the previous suit. The patents-in-suit relate to a spatially referenced photographic system. Nokia’s street level mapping and navigation system, which includes high-quality images, is accused of infringing the asserted patents.
