QoS IP, LLC has now filed a third lawsuit in as many weeks, this time against ZTE (6:16-cv-00895). QoS has asserted a single patent (7,385,982) against ZTE, Huawei (6:15-cv-00880) and Alcatel-Lucent (6:15-cv-00860) in this, its sole litigation campaign. The ‘982 patent generally relates to quality-of-service capabilities within Fibre Channel networks. It accuses the defendants of infringement through the sale of switches that support Fibre Channel over Ethernet.
