Consolidated Work Station Adds Juniper Networks to Enterprise Networking Campaign
Texas-based NPE Consolidated Work Station Computing, LLC (CWSC) has added Juniper Networks (1:16-cv-01495) to its enterprise networking campaign, accusing the company of infringing a single patent (6,823,475) generally related to a computer motherboard with multiple, redundant power supplies. This is CWSC’s first filing of the year in what remains its sole litigation campaign, which began in 2010 but became much more active in 2015. The ‘475 patent has been the only one asserted in every case brought by the NPE to date. Prior to this lawsuit, CWSC had exclusively targeted server hardware, but here the accused products are several types of enterprise-grade Ethernet switches.
