So far in March, SportBrain Holdings LLC has added a half dozen more defendants to the wearables campaign that it began in Texas in 2012. New suits have been filed against ASUS (1:16-cv-03054), MiTAC Digital (d/b/a Magellan) (1:16-cv-03064), Spree Wearables (1:16-cv-02860), Striiv (1:16-cv-03054), TomTom (1:16-cv-03069), and Wahoo Fitness (1:16-cv-02862). In 2016, the NPE shifted its campaign from earlier waves in Texas and then Delaware to Illinois, filing seven cases in January, eight in February, and now six in March.
