SportBrain Holdings LLC has added five new defendants to its wearable computing devices campaign. As in the NPE’s over 40 previous suits, this week’s complaints assert a single patent related to portable computing devices wirelessly receiving and integrating personal data (7,454,002). Defendants Atlas Wearables (1:16-cv-05376), Everlast Worldwide (1:16-cv-05226), MAD Apparel (1:16-cv-05227), PVH Corp. (1:16-cv-05209), and Extreme Time (d/b/a Zunammy) (1:16-cv-05226) are accused of infringing the ‘002 patent through their wearable activity trackers and companion applications.
