After Six-Year Adobe Litigation Finally Ends, Rosebud Regroups Against Microsoft
- May 25, 2016
Three months after an unfavorable Federal Circuit ruling brought prior litigation against Adobe to an end, Rosebud LMS, Inc. has filed a new lawsuit asserting the same patent (8,578,280) against Microsoft (1:16-cv-00384). The ‘280 patent generally relates to real-time collaboration over a computer network. Rosebud accuses Microsoft of infringement through the provision of its One Drive for Business feature. The ‘280 patent issued in 2013 as the most recent member in a family of three, each of which the NPE asserted, by itself, against Adobe in a series of three cases filed between May 2010 and February 2015.
