Following several March dismissals, Visual Content IP, LLC, an NPE affiliated with Dominion Harbor Group, LLC, has filed two new complaints in its sole litigation campaign. These new filings target Brookstone (2:16-cv-00554) and Halo 2 Cloud (2:16-cv-00555), accusing the companies of infringing five patents (8,189,965; 8,384,947; 8,570,588; 8,693,047; 8,786,897) generally related to image capture units and image processing scanner systems. Visual Content had asserted various combinations of the same group of patents in its previous filings, which targeted HTC, Image Recognition Integrated Systems (IRIS), LG Electronics (LGE), and Samsung. Visual Content’s newest complaints list certain “all-in-one scanner and mouse” devices as the accused products.
