Inventor-controlled Iridescent Networks, Inc. has filed suit against AT&T (6:16-cv-01003), accusing the carrier’s 4G LTE network of infringing a single patent (8,036,119). The ‘119 patent generally relates to providing on-demand bandwidth based on separating the control and data planes in the network. Iridescent’s complaint pleads multiple purported contacts concerning the plaintiff’s technology and patents, citing alleged meetings with AT&T executives between July 2008 and April 2014.
