June 13,  2011- A Forbes blog offers details about Digitude, the new patent licensing entity funded by Altitude Capital.  The Forbes article reports that Altitude has invested $50 million in Digitude and that Digititude has acquired “more than 500 patents.”  Digitude is reportedly targeting consumer electronics companies and is expected to launch litigation efforts at some point.
