Software Restore Solutions [NPE] filed suit against Apple over a patent related to the restoration of set-up configuratons in computer software.  The patent was assigned to Acacia Patent Acquisition in December 2009. SRS filed one prior suit in June 2010 against over 25 defendants including Apple, Electronic Arts, and IBM.  All defendants appear to have been dismissed from that case.  Apple was dismissed without prejudice in December 2010. 8/17, Northern District of Illinois, 1:2011cv05625.
