Walker Digital [NPE] filed suit against Microsoft and Sony over two patents related to using tracking cards to adapt gaming devices to playing preferences.  This is the first time these patents have been asserted in litigation.  Walker Digital, which formed a strategic partnership with IP Navigation in January, 2011, is the owner of over 500 patents and pending patent applications.  Since October, 2009 the company has filed over 30 patent infringement suits against more than 150 unique defendants.  8/8, District of Delaware, 1:2011cv00696.
