Smart Memory Solutions [NPE] filed suit against Fujitsu, Panasonic, and Toshiba over a patent related to RAM circuits and embedded flash memory.  This is the first suit filed by SMS. According to the USPTO database, SMS owns four patents that were assigned to Acacia Patent Acquisition by Alliance Semiconductor in April 2007, then subsequently assigned to SMS in January 2011.  8/2, District of Delaware, 1:2011cv00680.
