Civix-DDI Sues Trulia for Real Estate Mapping

Civix-DDI [NPE] filed suit against Trulia over two patents related to electronically mapping selected items of interest.  Both patents survived reexamination at the PTO.  Civix-DDI has filed five previous suits against a total of over 15 defendants, including Motorola and Verizon.  In May 2011, the National Association of Realtors negotiated a $7.5 million licensing agreement with Civix-DDI which provides blanket protection for multiple listing service websites. Civix has also reportedly achieved settlements with Microsoft, Yahoo!, and Expedia.  7/28, Eastern District of Virginia, 3:2011cv00492.
