PPS Data [NPE] filed four separate suits against Avisena, Capario, Availity and Athenahealth over three patents related to electronic processing systems for medical insurance claims after these defendants were severed from PPS Data’s March 2011 suit.  PPS Data is identified as a subsidiary of Zions Bancorporation in Zion’s recent 10-K. The patents originated with a technology provider and were assigned to NetDeposit in 2008.
