Shoom filed and action for declaratory judgment against Source 3 Systems [NPE] over two patents related to billing  for online ads.  The complaint alleges that Source 3, “threatened and brought litigation against Shoom’s customers.”  In June 2011, Source 3 filed suit against USA Today and Pantagraph Publishing over one of the patents-in-suit.  The patents were assigned to Source 3 in January 2008, and were previously assigned to Electronic Imaging Systems.  7/27, District of Arizona, 2:2011cv01482.
