Ogma [NPE] filed separate suits against 3M, Optoma Technology, and Bensussen Deutsch over a patent related to motion-sensitive sound effects devices and display systems.  The cases were severed from Ogma’s earlier litigation and stayed pending the result of Ogma’s concurrent ITC investigation.  Ogma obtained both of its patents from Medici Portfolio Acquisition in January, 2011.  Since then, Ogma has filed over 20 suits against defendants including Apple, Dell, HP, HTC, LG, Mad Catz, NEC, Panasonic, RIM, Seiko Epson, Sharp, and Sony.  Ogma has also filed two ITC investigations since May, 2011 against over 25 respondents.  7/21, Eastern District of Texas, 2:2011cv00328; 2:2011cv00327; 2:2011cv00335.
