July 8, 2011- Mosaid filed suit against HTC and Sony Ericsson for alleged infringement of three patents related to E-911 services. The patents originated from Zoltar Satellite Systems and were sold by AST to Mosaid in an assignment recorded in April. Zoltar asserted the patents in litigation against Audiovox, LG, Motorola, Nokia, Samsung, Sanyo, Sprint, and UTStarcom in 2005.
