Mosaid Technologies [NPE] filed suit against Sony Ericsson and HTC over three patents related to a E-911 services. These patents were originally assigned to Zoltar Satellite Alarm Systems and were subsequently acquired by Allied Security Trust (AST).  AST’s Hawthorne Hills subsidiary assigned the patents to Mosaid on 4/18/2011. 7/7, District of Delaware, 1:2011cv00598.  Zoltar Zoltar asserted the patents in litigation against Audiovox, LG, Motorola, Nokia, Samsung, Sanyo, Sprint, and UTStarcom in 2005.
