A new report from market research firm Gartner predicts global spending in gaming will exceed $74 billion this year, up 10.4% from 2010. Gartner forecasts $17.8 billion will be spend on gaming hardware (e.g., consoles), $11.9 billion on software, and $44.7 billion on gaming software.
