ARM filed an action for declaratory judgment against MOSAID [NPE] over seven patents related to processors and microcontrollers. In April 2011 MOSAID filed suit over the same patents against Freescale Semiconductor, Interphase, and NVIDIA. Five of the seven patents originated from Lucent Technologies. MOSAID has filed more than a dozen previous suits since 2005. 8/5, Northern District of California, 4:2011cv03869.
