Glory Licensing Sues Canon over Image Scanning Technology

Glory Licensing [NPE] filed suit against Canon over five patents related to image scanning technology.  Glory Licensing was formed by Mitchell Medina, who has filed more than 120 lawsuits since 1996 through several patent holding entities.  Glory has filed 6 prior suits since 2009. The patents assigned to Glory Licensing were assigned through via Millennium LP, one of Medina’s NPEs that has filed eight prior suits since 2010 against eight different companies, including Canon.  6/27, Eastern District of New York, 2:2011cv03058. (Refiling of Millennium v. Canon with same patents.)
