With a recent suit against Toshiba (8:19-cv-02181), Monument Peak Ventures, LLC (MPV), an entity associated with Dominion Harbor Enterprises, LLC, has opened up its fourth campaign to date asserting former Kodak patents received from Intellectual Ventures LLC (IV). MPV’s complaint, filed in the Central District of California, asserts a group of seven patents and targets a range of Toshiba products, including multi-function printers, an augmented reality application, image recognition processors, and a smart home platform. The filing closely follows the apparent settlement last month of another MPV case, that one against General Electric (GE Healthcare).
