In a new Western District of Texas complaint, inventor-controlled Exafer, Ltd. has accused Microsoft (6:19-cv-00687) of infringing two patents, generally related to network traffic optimization, through provision of its Azure Platform. Exafer asserted one of the two patents now in suit against Microsoft in a brief Northern District of California case against PICA8 that ended in settlement in January 2018.
