Lodsys [NPE] filed suit against a number small app developers others over two patents purportedly related to in-application updates. 5/31, Eastern District of Texas, 2:2011cv00272. Lodsys asserted the two patents in an earlier suit filed in February 2011 against consumer electronics, software, and handset companies.
