May 31, 2011- Elpida has become the first former Qimonda licensee to resolve a dispute over the status of patent licenses granted by the company prior to its insolvency filing.  (Those agreements are now voided under German law.)  The terms of the license and settlement agreement between Elpida and Qimonda’s insolvency adminstrator are not known.  Other former Qimonda licensees include Hynix, IBM, Intel, Infineon, Micron, Nanya and Samsung.
