May 18, 2011- Allstate, the largest auto insurance company in the US, will reportedly acquire Esurance and Answer Financial for $1 billion in an bid to increase its online sales. Esurance and Answer Financial both provide users with the ability to obtain and compare quotes from multiple insurance providers.
