Inventor-Controlled paSafeShare Hits Microsoft with Three Secure Content Distribution Patents

paSafeShare LLC, a plaintiff controlled by a father-son pair of named inventors, has sued Microsoft (6:20-cv-00397) over the provision of rights management systems, including Azure Information Protection, Microsoft Azure Rights Management, Microsoft Azure Active Directory, Azure Key Vault, Microsoft Office 365, and Microsoft Azure RMS-enlightened client programs and services. A family of three patents broadly directed to secure content distribution are asserted in the complaint, which paSafeShare filed in the Western District of Texas.
