Defendant Count in WSOU’s Networking Litigation Ticks Up Again with Ten Cases Filed Against Dell

May 23, 2020

Following March suits against Huawei and ZTE and April suits against Microsoft, WSOU Investments, LLC has followed the same pattern with its May litigation, this time filing ten separate cases against Dell and its subsidiaries EMC and VMware (6:20-cv-00403; 6:20-cv-00404; 6:20-cv-00406; 6:20-cv-00407; 6:20-cv-00408; 6:20-cv-00409; 6:20-cv-00410; 6:20-cv-00412; 6:20-cv-00417; 6:20-cv-00418) in the Western District of Texas. In each complaint, WSOU asserts a single patent from a portfolio of assets received from Nokia (including Alcatel-Lucent) throughout 2017. Together, the ten new suits target a range of Dell networking products.
