One of the new IP Edge LLC campaigns to begin during the monetization firm’s end-of-June filing spree involves a single battery management patent received from Empire Technology Development LLC by plaintiff Syclone IP LLC in mid-April 2020. Syclone IP has asserted that patent in a new complaint filed against Sony (1:20-cv-04941) in the Southern District of New York that calls out the Qnovo Adaptive Charging Battery Care included with the Xperia XZ3 smartphone.
