WSOU Turns to New Venues in Latest Round of Litigation, Against F5 Networks and Xilinx
WSOU Investments, LLC (d/b/a Brazos Licensing and Development) has taken its latest litigation to new venues with suits against F5 Networks (3:20-cv-00719; 3:20-cv-00720; 3:20-cv-00721; 3:20-cv-00722; 3:20-cv-00724) and Xilinx (1:20-cv-01228; 1:20-cv-01229; 1:20-cv-01231; 1:20-cv-01232; 1:20-cv-01233) in the Eastern District of Virginia and District of Delaware, respectively. WSOU asserts in each complaint a single patent from a large portfolio of assets received from Nokia (including from Alcatel-Lucent). Together, the ten new suits target various networking hardware and software products; they follow early September suits against HP Enterprise and Juniper Networks in the Western District of Texas, as well as prior sets of 2020 cases filed separately against Huawei, ZTE, Microsoft, Dell (EMC), and Alphabet (Google) (in that general order), all in that same district.
