Safe Storage filed six separate suits against Dell, Dot Hill Systems, Hitachi, HP, NetApp and Silicon Graphics alleging that the defendants’ RAID storage products infringe a patent related to the redundant interconnections. These are the first patent infringement suits filed by Safe Storage.  The patent-in-suit was issued to the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI) in Korea and is exclusively licensed to Safe Storage.
