Automated Transactions Sues Three More Banks and Credit Unions

Automated Transactions filed three separate suits against Delhi Bank, Heritage Family Credit Union and New England Federal Credit Union alleging that the defendants’ ATMs infringe 12 patents related to automated teller machines.  Automated Transactions has filed over 15 prior suits since January 2006 against more than 20 banks and financial services companies.  David Barcelou is the named inventor on all of the patents-in-suit, which he assigned to Transaction Holdings in 2003.  According to the complaint, Automated Transactions is the exclusive licensee of the patents-in-suit.  11/30, Northern District of New York, assigned to District Judge Mae A.
