Mobile Transformation filed suit against Pocket Gems, alleging that the defendant’s mobile gaming applications infringe a patent related to displaying data of one type (such as video) while simultaneously playing advertising data of a second type (such as audio). Mobile Transformation has filed 23 suits since November 2011.  According to the complaint Mobile Transformation is the exclusive licensee of the patent-in-suit, which originated with Adware LI and was assigned to Penobscot Prospect in November 2009.  RPX reviewed the patent-in-suit as an open market opportunity (EverAd) in February 2009.  10/26, District of Delaware, no judge yet assigned, 1:2012cv01365.
